This Privacy Policy describes how Blankenship Life Insurance ("BLI") and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, sister companies, affiliates, third-party vendors, and parent companies (“BLI,” “the Company,” “we”, “us”, or “our”) collect, use, and disclose personal information in connection with BLI websites (“Sites”) and mobile applications (“Apps”) (collectively, the “Services”) that link to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Notice also describes our current privacy practices as required under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, 15 U.S.C. § 6801 et. seq., and North Carolina law. This Privacy Policy also tells you about your rights and choices with respect to your personal information and how you can reach us to get answers to questions you may have regarding the Privacy Policy.

At BLI, we recognize and respect your privacy. We take data collection seriously, as evidenced by our Compliance page. “Personal information” generally refers to any information that can be linked to an identified or identifiable person. The personal information that we collect about you varies depending on the context of our interactions with you. The following describes the types of personal information that we collect from you for our purposes and how we use that information. Examples of the types of individuals or third-party organizations and companies to which these disclosures may be made include, but may not be limited to, adjusters, agents, attorneys, insurance support organizations, medical professionals or institutions to verify coverage, the North Carolina Department of Insurance, other governmental agencies, or law enforcement as required by law or to protect a legal interest in the case of fraud or illegal activities, in response to a subpoena. In some instances, your information may be disclosed to our corporate affiliates (e.g., parent company, sister companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control) for the purpose of advising you about additional insurance products and services that these companies offer. These disclosures are only made as permitted by law.
We may disclose your information with service providers. Among other things service providers may help us to administer our Sites and Apps, collect data for analysis purposes, conduct surveys, provide technical support, and process payments, but BLI does not sell, rent or disclose any of your personal information, other than as previously noted, and no mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Should your relationship with our company end, we will continue to limit any disclosures of your personal information just as we would if you continued to be a policyholder through our company.
COOKIES AND OTHER INFORMATION-COLLECTING TECHNOLOGIES
In accordance with applicable law, we may use cookies, web beacons or other tracking technologies (collectively, “cookies”) on our site. YOUR INSURANCE POLICY RECORDS

Should you believe that any information in your file is inaccurate, you are required to formally notify us of your concerns, substantiating your claims with reasons for your conclusion and specifying the corrections, amendments, or deletions you wish to see made. Upon receipt of your request, we will conduct an investigation into the matter. Should we decide to correct the inaccuracies, we will ensure the correction is disseminated to any individual or organization to whom we have previously disclosed the information, to any person you have designated, and in accordance with legal requirements. In the event that we choose not to correct the inaccuracies, we will maintain a copy of your request along with any additional information you submit. Furthermore, should we disclose any information from your records at a later date, we will include a copy of your correction request and any supplementary information you have provided.
